MEET THE ARTIST
My name is Claire, and I'm a Sydney-based artist who loves painting and photographing animals.
I have completed a Bachelor of Media Arts (Honours) at UNSW Art & Design.
I work predominately digitally, in Clip Studio Paint, using a drawing tablet, but I also enjoy working with pen and ink, and am always open for other inquiries. Previously I developed website aesthetics for a digital archive for creative director Dr. Turnbull Tillman, and have worked murals in the past.
I do however specialise in pet portraits, using photos provided by the client to create a photo-real digital painting, a quirky cartoon, or an impressionistic piece!
I love all animals, but adore birds in particular. I have a lot of experience painting cats and dogs, and love finding that little spark within that makes each animal an individual. My work celebrates their quirks and differences!
